The American Association of Blacks in Higher Education (AABHE) invites your participation in the ninth Leadership and Mentoring Institute at Miles College in Birmingham, Alabama on July 14-21, 2013.
The purpose of the Leadership and Mentoring Institute (LMI) is to support African-Americans who want to acquire information and skills to prepare them for senior administrative and faculty ranks. As in the past, the Institute will have distinct, parallel tracks to accommodate the needs of professionals interested in administration and teaching/research.
Please consider applying to the institute if you are currently a mid-level/senior administrative or a faculty member in a tenure-line position. If you have already achieved senior level status, consider nominating someone at your institution who could benefit from this experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for professional development and it is our hope that you will take advantage of all the benefits connected to this experience.
